Dab song

The Dab song template takes two parameters: the song title and the artist name. The artist name is optional: if it is omitted, the parenthetical suffix will be simply (song).

Example with song title and artist name

The following shows how to link the song whose article is at the page Thank You (Led Zeppelin song):

* {{subst:Dab song|Thank You|Led Zeppelin}}

This displays as:

• "Thank You" (Led Zeppelin song)

Example with song title only

The following shows how to link the song whose article is at the page Cuddly Toy (song):

* {{subst:Dab song|Cuddly Toy}}

This displays as:

• "Cuddly Toy" (song)

However, in this case, since the artist name is not part of the link, it is helpful to include additional information after the template. For example:

* {{subst:Dab song|Cuddly Toy}}, a 1988 song by Roachford

This displays as:

• "Cuddly Toy" (song), a 1988 song by Roachford
