* Ensure that Perl Mediawiki libraries are installed in your system. 
* Create a directory in your home, say, <code>mkn</code>. This will look like <code>/home/username/mkn</code> after creation. The <code>username</code> may be replaced with user actual user id.
* Change directory with the command <code>cd mkn</code>
* Unzip the archive <code>palm-grab-upload.zip</code> in the newly created directory.
* Open <code>Makefile</code> in <code>gedit</code>: <code>gedit Makefile</code>.
* Enter the name of the file to be grabbed against the <code>file</code> variable.
* Execute the command: <code>make</code>
* If everything is correct, the pages will be grabbed from Palm, cleaned up and <code>out.wiki</code> will be created in your working directory (i.e., <code>mkn</code>).
