Instructions

1. Go to http://www.dartsdatabase.co.uk/PlayerStats.aspx
2. Select "Name Search" from the drop-down list
3. Type in the name of the darts player you are trying to find
4. Look at the URL and the end of it you will see playerKey=XXXX (XXXX being numbers)
5. Copy only the numbers
6. # Add to the external links section the text:

{{Dartsdatabase|id=###|name=XXX}}, where "###" is the number you've copied and "XXX" is the darts players name.

Optionally, you can leave out name=XXX and the template will use the page's name for the name, i.e. {{Dartsdatabase|id=###}}.

Example

1. Searching for "Phil Taylor", you'll be able to find to this page: http://www.dartsdatabase.co.uk/PlayerDetails.aspx?playerKey=1
2. Copy "1" and then write:

{{Dartsdatabase|id=1|name=Phil Taylor}}

The result is: Player profile on Phil Taylor from Dartsdatabase

Note that, since this will almost certainly go on the external link section, you should add a * before the template text to include it as a list item.
