Professional boxing record for Boxrec from BoxRec

This is a template to generate links to BoxRec's boxer finder. This template should be used exclusively for professional boxers.

Instructions

1. Go to http://boxrec.com/search.php and search for the fighter you're looking for
2. The page URL should look like http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=###&cat=boxer, where "###" indicates a number. You can also take the number from the field "Global ID" in the boxer's profile.
3. Copy ONLY that number
4. Add to the external links section the text:

{{Boxrec|id=###|name=XXX}}, where "###" is the number you've copied and "XXX" is the boxer's name.

Optionally, you can leave out name=XXX and the template will use the page's name for the name, ie {{Boxrec|id=###}}.

Example

1. Searching for first name "Mike" and last name "Tyson", you'll be able to find to this page: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=474&cat=boxer
2. Copy "474" and then write:

{{Boxrec|id=474|name=Mike Tyson}}

The result is: Professional boxing record for Mike Tyson from BoxRec

Note that, since this will almost certainly go on the external link section, you should add a * before the template text to include it as a list item.
