Journal Articles

  • Submission to Sayahna is free. Sayahna Foundation is a charity and is not driven by making profits, instead motivated to empower the author, to make research communication cost effective and accessible to all for free. The charges levied are for the sustenance of volunteers and infrastructure.
  • Once the document undergoes reviewing and selection, processing and various output generation are completed, the volunteers who does various jobs will attach a price tag for each process they do which can be usually:
    • reviewing and selection
    • assessing usability of document and its components
    • copy editing
    • figure processing
    • various output generation including author proofs, corrections, final copy
    • communication and hosting
  • The price tag will be a cumulative charges of all the above.
  • Once the article is ready for publishing, it will be waiting for someone to pay the amount to Sayahna that could be one of the following:
    • author
    • organization where author(s) is/are affiliated
    • any interested organization or charity
    • any philanthropic citizen
    • government
  • The abstract will be available for review by anyone for free.
  • Once the processing fee is paid, the document becomes accessible to the world for ever.
  • Usually maximum charges leviable shall be:
    • USD 99 up to 10 pages
    • USD 5 per each additional page
  • The money goes to the volunteers involved in the process and a small portion goes to the Foundation for its sustenance.
