The Tilastopaja template is designed to give standardised external links to athlete biographies on the Tilastopaja statistics website.

Usage

The template has four input fields:

{{Tilastopaja|id=|name=|sex=|fi=}}

• The id field is mandatory and relates to the number found in the target athlete biography URL
• The name field is optional and changes the output text for the athlete's name. This defaults to the article name (minus any disambiguation handles in parentheses).
• The sex field is optional and must be either "m" for men or "w" for women. This defaults to "m". When linking to female athletes "sex=w" must be included in the template. (This links in with the url structure of the website).
• The fi field is optional. If populated this will change the URL to access the Finnish side of the database. Many Finnish athletes, particularly older ones, are held under the Finnish language portion of the website.

The profile for Natalya Nazarova is http://www.tilastopaja.org/db/atw.php?ID=15345

The final numbers in the URL are the id. So to add this link to the article we would include the following text in the External links section:

Finnish page

Profiles for older athletes, such as Tiina Lillak, are on the Finnish language part of the website and the fi field must be used. For example:
